demopark 2019: A lot of demonstrations, a silver medal and an anniversary at AS-Motor
At demopark 2019, AS-Motor Germany GmbH & Co KG will present many new products and innovations. The diagnostic device AS SherLog1.0 won the silver medal at the demopark innovation competition 2019. Moreover, the company is celebrating its 60th anniversary with a special edition of the popular AS 940 Sherpa 4WD ride-on mower – only 60 of these special mowers will be produced.
The fact that AS-Motor high grass mowers stand for professional quality can again be experienced live at this year's demopark: The new ride-on flail mower AS 1040 Yak 4WD, which combines the robust performance of a flail mower with the steep-slope capability and convenience of the AS-Motor all-wheel drive ride-on mowers; the AS 915 Sherpa 2WD, which has been upgraded to the Sherpa class after a model update, with a surfing mower deck and rigid square steel frame for grass and undergrowth; and the new meadow mower AS 62 4T B&S that is powerful, as well as manoeuvrable.
The family of mechanical weed removers has been extended with the AS 30 E-WeedHex for noise-sensitive areas; it is battery-powered, emission-free, quiet and low-vibration and it can be equipped with a new brush holder for even more cleanliness on uneven surfaces. This brush holder uses the proven braid brushes of the AS 50 WeedHex and, thanks to a quick-change system, the brushes can be easily replaced without tools.
Two innovations for the AS 940 Sherpa 4WD RC
The new distance assistance system for the remote-controlled ride-on mower AS 940 Sherpa 4WD RC not only increases operator safety, it also facilitates work with the device. The system detects the operator's distance from the device and automatically adjusts certain device parameters, such as speed. This makes it easier, for example, to mow out difficult areas or to load the device.
In the service area AS-Motor will also be presenting a real highlight at demopark for servicing dealer: The new AS SherLog 1.0 diagnostic device enables testing of electrical and electronic components of the AS 940 Sherpa 4WD RC within a few minutes in the workshop or on site – the results are then displayed on a smart phone, tablet or laptop, for example.
A real eye-catcher: The special edition Sherpa
For the company's 60th anniversary, the high-grass experts have come up with something special: The AS 940 Sherpa 4WD will be produced under the motto "Sherpa Adventure" in an anniversary edition of only 60 mowers: The ride-on mower has a special look thanks to a special paint finish and features the factory-integrated tyre sealant, "AS-Motor Flat-Stop", that can prevent flats when mowing. Other product adaptations will remain secret and can be viewed directly on site at demopark. A visit will be well worthwhile; in addition to the "Sherpa Adventure" AS-Motor will also be presenting many other professional mowers, ride-on mowers and Allmähers on its stand – including a lot of demonstrations!
