AS 21 4T Comfort

Handy and convenient Allmäher with certain extras

A classic Allmäher and big brother of the AS 21 4T Comfort. This Allmäher is equipped with a Briggs & Stratton 4-stroke engine with up to 5.5 hp and suitable for grass up to 60 cm high. A third crankshaft bearing and friction discs on the wing blade protect the engine in the event of unseen obstacles while large wheels with aggressive tread offer ideal propulsion at speeds up to 3.0 km/h.

Agile maneuvering thanks to the 3-wheel concept

The AS 21 4T Comfort easily masters mowing on angles and curves. The swivel front wheel can be mechanically stopped in position, ensuring stable and comfortable mowing on slight inclines.
Work rates reaching 1,500 m² per hour are possible due to the powerful Briggs & Stratton engine, traction drive and a 51 cm cutting width. Cutting heights can be easily adjusted within the range of 55-80 cm via four cutting height levels on the front wheel and two cutting height levels on the rear wheels. The AS 21 4T Comfort is equipped with a comfort handlebar that can be adjusted laterally and for height without tools. In addition, the AS 21 4T Comfort is factory-equipped with a 5-litre tank that requires less frequent refueling, ensuring more efficient work.

Customer reviews

There's no pleasure in property and garden work when your tools always break and you waste your time trying to fix them. I see people trying to turn on their cheap consumer mowers for hours and they just end up hitting the thing. It's different with AS mowers. I get my mower out of the garage, press the fuel pump on the carburetor three times, pull once and then the engine runs. That is very pleasant.

We avoid chemical pest control and excessive fertilization in our vineyard… We have been using the AS 21 and AS 28 mowers for years. The three-wheel mowers are ideal very agile and cut through tall grass outstandingly well... We mow our slopes with the 2-stroke, so that there is no problem with engine lubrication. With six horsepower the engine from AS is just great and has a lot of power.
– Michael Horlacher (hobby gardener and hobby winemaker from Stuttgart, Germany)
Even my grandmother had an AS mower, which at the time was still red and white and had a front wheel with spokes that looked like a bicycle. And my parents had orchards and vineyards... which could only be mowed a scythe or an AS mower.
– Michael Horlacher (Hobby gardener and winemaker, Stuttgart)
With 35 year old mowers from AS, we still have fun mowing. That is Swabian quality. We own several "Gütle" (garden plots), one of which is on a steep slope. Our AS 53 B1/R all-wheel drive still does a great job! We also have an AS 45 B1, which is just as old and still in use. Our oldest AS machine still in working order is an AS 21 from 1968, found in grandpa's barn.
