AriensCo invests in the future – Production capacity at the Bühlertann site expanded

Our family-owned company AriensCo is expanding its production capacity at the Bühlertann site with the opening of a new assembly line. The expansion of capacity is in response to the high demand for professional mowing technology for tall grass.

"With the commissioning of the new production line, assembly line 311, we are increasing our total capacity by 1,500 units per year and expanding our production area by 400 m²," said Jochen Schneider, Executive Vice President EMEAA at the opening of the new line at the end of September. "With this capacity expansion, we can meet the high demand from the commercial segment and decisively counteract the supply bottlenecks of the past months."

For the time being, the new production line is mainly used to build the AS 1000 Ovis remote-controlled tracked flail mower. In the long term, the line will also be used for other mowers from the professional segment. "AriensCo's worldwide distribution network opens up additional potential for our high grass mowers. With the new assembly line, we are also excellently prepared for this."

The entire project was successfully implemented and realised in just under four months. "This was only possible thanks to the outstanding performance of the entire team and the very good support of the suppliers," Jochen Schneider emphasised, making it clear that this investment is also a clear commitment by AriensCo to its German location. When AS-Motor moved its headquarters to Bühlertann at the end of 2009, only a fraction of the available space on the former Kärcher site was used. In the meantime, AriensCo uses the entire site for its activities.
